Our Story
The Magic Wand Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 dedicated to activating youth to affect positive change in their own lives, their communities, and the world through mindsets-based empowerment. We provide programming, resources, and support to youth and youth advocacy organizations to reach youth all around the world. Our mindsets matter and it is our mission to open the hearts and minds of our youth so they may dream, imagine, and build a better world.
A lifetime Commitment
Our work with youth began in 1987 when our founders started teaching entrepreneurship to students deemed at-risk in inner-city schools in Chicago and New York.
In 2007, our research team began a three-year study to uncover the key to living a happy and successful life, revealing the 7 Mindsets to live your ultimate life.
Tranforming K12 Education
Our founders then started the 7 Mindsets Corporation and spent the next 15 years developing curriculum, professional development, and coaching to permeate mindsets-based empowerment throughout K12 education. More than 5 million students and educators practiced and adopted the mindsets, and their lives were positively changed. Studies consistently demonstrate an increase in resilience, grit, and performance in all areas of life.
Global Impact
In February of 2023, we relaunched the Magic Wand Foundation to reach young people that may never get access to these life-changing resources through K12 education.
